Relocation, Registration & Support

Shifting to a new country can be an incredibly stressful and daunting venture, and in New Zealand all Doctors have to complete registration with their professional board. This process can take quite some time so we encourage you to apply for registration several months before you plan to arrive. Also, if you're not a New Zealand Citizen or Resident and would like to work here, you need the right visa. Please, if you're interested, but need to know more, or if you want us to paint a much more detailed picture of living and working down here, we encourage you to get in touch. As employers we're in a position to offer you all the assistance and support you require right from the start, everything from transporting your goods to opening a new bank account in NZ.

Once you're in New Zealand and ready to work you'll need to contact the Inland Revenue Department to register yourself for taxation purposes. For information visit Inland Revenue – www.ird.govt.nz

When we recruit people from overseas, we understand that the support we provide needs to be extended to their partners, too. It's all about making sure that people feel as comfortable as possible. We're here to help you, your partner and your family to settle in to your new town.
